    Hand Functional Active-Passive Traning & Evaluation System A5

    Hand Functional Active-Passive Training & Evaluation System A5 is developed according to the theories of Motor Relearning Programme (MRP) in Rehabilitation. Medicine and applying electromyogram acquisition technology which can simulates motions of human fingers and wrist in real time. The main functions of A5 are evaluations of myodynamia signals of musculus flexor and musculus extensor for patients’ fingers, passive training, myoelectrical signal triggering mode training, visual interactive games and archive searching & printing function.

    Therapeutic Effect of Hand Rehabilitation Robotic A5

    1. Promote rehabilitation of hand function and prevent muscle atrophy;

    2. Improve muscle strength and endurance of the patients’ hands through progressive training;

    Electromyogram acquisition poles are adhered to patient’s extensor muscle and musculus flexor to receive commands from patient’s brain. When a patient wants to move his or her hand, the brain will send relevant command which causes the changes of electromyogram. The acquisition poles will receive the command, process it and finally utilize it to drive robotic hand of A5.

    Two: Thumb Electromyography Signal Evaluation & Drive

    The unique thumb electromyography signals evaluation function which generates more accurate and comprehensive evaluation results than other similar product in the market. Thumb Electromyography itself can be the power source to drive the robotic hand. Therapists can choose single-finger or all-finger training mode which has a certain degree of pertinence.     Three: Wrist Training

    Our Hand Rehabilitation Robotics can control the wrist’s range of motion to train the wrist separately. It is also possible to fix the wrist at an angular position, training fingers only or exercise the wrist and finger simultaneously.
