Why Is Sports Important?

Life lies in sports! 2 weeks with no exercise, cardiovascular function will decrease by 1.8%. Studies found that after 14 days with no exercise, the body’s cardiovascular function will decline by 1.8%, cardiopulmonary function will decline, and waist circumference will increase. But 14 days after resuming normal activities, the blood vessel function will obviously improve.

Meanwhile, people who are overweight, obese and have a history of smoking can benefit from physical activity. The paper studied 26 cancers and found that exercise can significantly reduce the incidence of 13 of them.

Physical exercise also helps to prevent and treat osteoporosis, reduce colds, improve depression, lower blood pressure, relieve chronic pain, fight chronic fatigue syndrome, relieve constipation, lower blood sugar, fight addiction, and prevent stroke.

Both the World Health Organization and Chinese Dietary Guidelines recommend 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise or 75 minutes of high-intensity exercise per week. If these hours are allocated to daily exercise, it’ll be easy for everyone.
