Shoulder pain;Restricted shoulder movement;Nighttime pain flare-ups

2. Introduction:

Frozen Shoulder, medically known as “adhesive capsulitis of shoulder” , is a common shoulder condition. It refers to inflammation in the tissues surrounding the shoulder joint. It primarily affects middle-aged individuals, especially women over the age of 50 who engage in repetitive activities. Symptoms include shoulder joint pain, stiffness, and adhesive sensations, making the shoulder feel frozen.

3. How to perform home exercises to improve frozen shoulder:

Exercise 1: Wall Climbing Exercise

The first exercise is the wall climbing exercise, which can be performed with one hand or both hands.Key points for wall climbing exercise:

- Stand at a distance of 30–50 centimeters from the wall.
– Slowly climb with the affected hand(s) on the wall.
– Perform 10 repetitions, twice a day.
– Keep a record of the climbing height.

– Swing the arms naturally in a small range of motion, gradually increasing the amplitude.
– Perform 10 sets of swings, twice a day.

Lean the body slightly forward, allowing the affected arm to hang naturally. Swing the arm in a small range of motion.

In addition to these exercises, during non-acute periods, you can also apply local heat therapy, keep the shoulder warm in daily activities, take regular breaks, and avoid excessive physical labor. If there is no improvement after a period of exercise, seek medical attention promptly.

In the hospital, you can find the use of Medium-frequency Electric Therapy Device and Shockwave Therapy for treating frozen shoulder.

Shockwave Therapy Equipment PS2

Features

The shock wave therapy instrument converts the pneumatic pulse sound waves generated by the mompressor into precise ballistic shockwaves, which are transmitted through physical media (such as air, liquid, etc.) to act on the human body to produce biological effects, which are high-energy generated by the sudden release of energy. Pressure waves have the characteristics of instantaneous pressure increase and high-speed transmission. Through the positioning and movement of the treatment head,it can loosen adhesions and dredge issues in human tissues where pain occurs extensively.
